Join HCRW members and romance readers for an informal evening of great food and fun readings by three different romance writers each month.
Attendees should bring $5 or a gently used or new book to donate. Books will be given to the Wake County Library system. Proceeds will be donated
to Duke/Raleigh Ovarian Cancer Oncology Research.

We are very excited that SHOUT Against the Whisper! will have an Ovarian Cancer Awareness table at the Raleigh Southern Women's Show this year! Please stop by our teal table to learn the facts about this vicious, silent killer of women. Romance authors of HCRW will be on site to sign their books. Teal and Ovarian Cancer items will be sold with proceeds going to OC Education. Survivors and nurses will be on site to talk with attendees about symptoms and treatments. Our goal is to educate as many women as we can about the signs of this deadly cancer.
